Terms Of Service
Effective Date: March 29, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and products offered by Sharon's Art.
For the purposes of this agreement, “Sharon’s Art” refers to the art business solely owned and operated by Sharon Turbiner Perry, an independent artist.
About the Website & Custom Orders
Welcome to Sharon's Art! 😊
Here, you’ll find a collection of paintings I have created with great love, care, and attention to detail.
Some of these artworks have already been sold, donated, or are displayed in my home, while others are available for purchase.
What sets my art apart is the option for personalized creations — offering you a unique and original painting tailored specifically to your vision.
I designed this website to make the ordering process simple and straightforward, guiding you step-by-step to bring your dream painting to life.
You no longer need to compromise or spend endless hours searching through websites and galleries —
Here, you can order a custom painting that perfectly matches your style, preferred size, and color palette, crafted with premium materials, care, and dedication.
Each painting can be customized to fit beautifully into any space — whether it's your living room, dining area, bedroom, office, or workspace.
If you find a piece in the gallery that speaks to you but would like it in a different size, format (horizontal, vertical, or square), or with a different color scheme, I would be happy to create a custom version just for you.
In addition to the selections offered on the site — style, category, colors, format, dimensions, size and side finish —
you are more than welcome (and encouraged! 😊) to provide additional details when placing your order.
For example:
• An emphasis on a specific color
• The addition of sketching or drawing techniques alongside painting
• A description of the room’s color palette where the artwork will be placed
• Details about the furniture and décor
• Or any other preference you would like me to consider
And of course, once I receive your request, I will personally get back to you with all the details you need. I look forward to creating something truly special for you! 🎨

How the Order Process Works
After you send me your order through the website, you will have up to 48 hours to make any changes.
Once this period has passed, I will contact you to finalize the details of your order.
Next, I will create a colored sketch of your requested painting on paper or bristol paper, allowing you to get a clearer, more tangible idea of your custom piece.
You can expect to receive the sketch approximately two weeks after finalizing the order details.
If you would like to make adjustments/changes — such as emphasizing specific colors, altering details within the painting, or even changing the size — it will still be possible at this stage.
However, please note that I create one sketch only, as it is a detailed and time-consuming part of the process.
Once you approve the sketch and all the final details, I will begin creating your painting — with the goal of delivering a piece that you will truly love and connect with.
Keep in mind that art is a creative process, and it's important to leave room for some flexibility and an open mind. 😊
Of course, I will closely follow all of your requests, but it’s important to understand that the final painting may differ slightly from the sketch.
The sketch will be done with softer materials (such as colored pencils, pastels, and chalks), while the final artwork will be painted with acrylic paints, which are much more vibrant, glossy, and rich in texture.
Depending on your preferences, the final painting may also include texture that is difficult to fully capture in the sketch.
You will also receive an estimated completion date for the painting, as well as an expected delivery timeline.
I would like to mention that I work with high-quality acrylic paints and premium canvas, stretched over a strong wooden frame that is ready to hang.
Each finished painting is coated with a thin layer of clear varnish, which protects it from dust and helps preserve the colors for many years without fading.
There is no need to frame the canvas, but if you would like to add a frame after receiving the painting, you are free to do so independently.
Payment Terms
The payment will be divided into two parts:
• After confirming your order — both through the website and via phone or email — you will pay one-third (1/3) of the total painting cost.
• After approving the final sketch, including any last adjustments discussed during the sketch presentation, you will pay the remaining two-thirds (2/3), completing the full payment for the painting.

Delivery
Once the painting is complete, I will carefully package it and send it to you. You will receive the painting either through personal delivery by Sharon or via a professional courier service.
In either case, no delivery fee will be charged for deliveries within Israel.
For international shipping:
If the painting needs to be shipped abroad (outside of Israel), shipping fees will apply based on the destination country, size of the painting, and shipping method.
Sharon will provide you with the exact shipping cost when finalizing the order and will ensure that the painting is packaged securely for international delivery.

Refund Terms
At Sharon’s Art, each painting is made with great care, attention, and love to match your personal request.
Because the artwork is fully customized for you, refunds are available only in specific cases, as outlined below:
1. In case of damage during shipping:
If the painting arrives damaged, please contact Sharon as soon as possible.
You may then choose between two options:
• A full refund for the painting.
• A replacement — Sharon will create the same painting for you again at no additional cost.

You may then choose between two options:
• A full refund for the painting.
• A replacement — Sharon will create the same painting for you again at no additional cost.
2. In case of dissatisfaction with the painting:
Since the painting is a personalized and hand-made artwork, based on a detailed order you approved of — including the sketch and final details — refunds are not available for dissatisfaction.
Please understand:
• A sketch is first created and approved by you before the final painting begins.
• It is important to note that the final painting may have natural artistic variations compared to the sketch.
Differences in texture, brushwork, color depth, and the vividness of acrylic paints compared to lighter sketching materials (such as pastels, pencils, or chalk) are a natural part of the creative process.
• As stated clearly during the ordering process, slight differences between a digital image and the final painting are normal due to lighting, photography, and screen displays.
For these reasons, once the artwork is completed and matches the approved order, no refunds can be given based on personal preference or a change of mind.
Thank you for your understanding and trust in the artistic process and in Sharon's Art! 🎨

Cancellation
I understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your order. In such case, please contact me as soon as possible to maximze the refund amount. To ensure fairness, I’ve outlined my cancellation policy based on the stage of the artwork’s creation:
• Before Work Begins: If the artwork process has not yet started and you asked for a cancellation, I will provide you with a full refund of any payments made.
• After Work Begins: Once the work has started (including the creation of a sketch or the beginning of painting), cancellations will be handled based on the progress made. If you wish to cancel your order at this stage, I may offer a partial refund. The amount of the refund will depend on the progress and materials used up until that point. I’ll keep you updated on the status of your order, and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Please understand that once significant progress has been made, including time and materials spent, a full refund will no longer be available, as the artistic process is already underway.
